Forward!!

Hello all, my name is Tommy Caprelian. I am the owner and brewer of House of Pendragon Brewing Company. We are a Nano brewery in the San Joaquin Valley, more specifically in Sanger Ca, just 10 minutes east of Fresno and Clovis Ca. Officially our brewery started in November 2012, but we didn’t start producing beer until this past Feb 2013. Since we launched it has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. The ups have been mostly to our success of our beer, the downs have been more on the equipment side of the brewery. Every brewery goes through start up problems so we will not dwell on them too much. With that said I would like to ask you to join us on our Journey of a small brewery with big flavor trying to make it in the world. I am a bit embarrassed that I have not utilized this blog more in the past. It truly is a great tool not only for you, the public, to see what goes on in the daily lives of a brewery, but as a written scrapbook that one day I can personally look back on and see our accomplishments.  Please feel free to comment and ask questions.

Now that the introduction is over, what is happening today at HOP Brewing Co.? Today I am trying to make sure that my fermenting beer doesn’t get out of control in this heat. Maintaining temperature when making beer is one of the most important factors in producing a great quality brew.  A temperature fluctuation of 2-3 degrees up or down can greatly affect the taste and or overall beer quality. With that said I am off to the brewery. Until next post!
